Norma Fitzsimmons

November 14, 1935 — December 17, 2019

Norma Dayne Fitzsimmons, of Hubbard, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at the Liberty Arms Health Care Center, Youngstown, Ohio, following a long conflict with COPD. She was 84.

Ms. Fitzsimmons was born November 14, 1935, in New Florence, Pennsylvania, a daughter to Alan & Ida (Sherman) Galbraith.

She had worked as a Data Center Supervisor for First National Bank before she retired.

In her spare time, she enjoyed her Tuesday Morning Bocce Group and she was an avid gardener who always had something in bloom. In addition, she was an ally of the Friends of the Hubbard Library.

She is survived by: her sons, Lonny A. Fitzsimmons & his fiancé Marlene Dikun, of Hubbard, and Larry J. Fitzsimmons & his wife Kimberly, Raleigh, North Carolina; her grandsons, Sean M. Fitzsimmons & his wife, Allie, and Tyler J. Fitzsimmons; and her sister, Patricia Hill & her husband Ron, Portland, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, John, Gary, & William Galbraith.

In accordance to her wishes, no services or calling hours will be held.
