Audrey Superak

September 11, 1938 — December 17, 2019

Audrey A Superak, of Brookfield, Ohio, entered eternal peace on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, while in the comfort of her home following an extended illness. She was 81.

Audrey was born September 11, 1938, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a daughter to Raymond G. & Mary (Vitello) Dellarco.

A 1956 graduate of Brookfield High School, she fell in love with a gentleman by the name of Bernie J. Superak, Jr. They exchanged vows on July 20, 1957, and together they started a family. Born to this union were three children: Jeffrey, Bernie III, and Sandy.

Audrey worked for the Brookfield Local School District in the cafeteria and also as a Teacher’s Aide for both Brookfield and Fairhaven School, Niles, Ohio, where she served as a Workshop Specialist for 25 years.

Her memberships include: St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Parish, Vienna; Masury-Brookfield Women’s Club; the Herb Guild; and her monthly “card less” card club with her lady friends.

In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, gardening, paying special attention to “her” birds, and being a caregiver to Danielle Madden. In addition, she absolutely loved her circle of friends. However, spending time with her family meant the most to her.

Christmas was her favorite time of the year and bringing family together held a special place in her heart.

She was survived by: her children, Jeffrey E. Superak (Lora), Franklin, Pennsylvania, Bernie J. Superak, III (Mary), Fairmont, West Virginia, and Sandra M. Superak, (Richie Dascenzo), Vienna, Ohio; her grandchildren, Anthony Superak, Heather Kornas (Jason), Bernie Superak, IV, & Katie Holtz (Robert); her great-grandchildren, Savannah, Jaden, & Devon; her brother, Raymond E. "Gene" Dellarco, Jr. & his wife Jeffann, Hudson, Ohio; her nieces whom she considered like daughters, Deneen Dellarco & Denell Mesa; her great-niece, Mia Mesa; as well as her fur pup-pup, Ellie.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband Bernie, who died on New Year’s Day 2004; and her brother, Edward Dellarco.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Audrey’s honor on Saturday, December 21, 2019, at 10:30 AM, in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Parish, 4453 Warren-Sharon Rd., Vienna, Ohio 44473. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Brookfield Township Cemetery.

Her celebration continues with a Memorial Time of Gathering from 12-2 PM Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Tiffany’s Banquet Center, 601 Bedford Rd., Brookfield, Ohio 44403.
