Armando Chavarria Acevedo

Armando Israel Chavarria Acevedo, of Fowler, Ohio, passed from this life into eternal life on Sunday, November 29, 2020, as a result from injuries sustained in a tree trimming accident at his home. He was 36 years old. He was a man of faith and a true believer in doing good unto others.

Armando was born February 12, 1984, in Esteli, Nicaragua, a son to Francisco Armando Chavarria Raitt & Bertha Lucia Acevedo Benavides.

He was the owner and operator of Raitt Construction, LLC, of Fowler, Ohio.

Armando's children and wife were his pride and joy and family time was the most important thing to him. In his spare time, he was an avid sports fan enjoying fishing, hunting, playing basketball, baseball, and boxing. Armando loved his MAC tools, diesel motors (especially Cummins), buying and selling vehicles, auto parts, large machinery, and diesel trucks. He also loved to spend time at junkyards aka second home (a favorite stop of his was at the Akron Pull-a-Part) and attending Ritchie Bros. Auctions.

Survivors include: his beloved wife of 7 years, Heather R. Chavarria (Frantz); his children, Bryan Chavarria Rivera, Tristan Barahona, Wesley Barahona, Sebastian Barahona, Caleb Chavarria, all at home, and two daughters, Anielka Chavarria Rivera, of Esteli, Nicaragua and Rosita Grismarling Herrera, of Guaslala, Nicaragua; his mother & step-father,  Bertha Lucia Acevedo Benavides & Jose Rigoberto Lopez, of Akron, Ohio; his 14 brothers and sisters, Marlene Chavarria Zamora, Hugo Rafael Chavarria Vilchez,  Xavier Chavarria Vilchez,  Armando Chavarria, Ramon Chavarria Sandoval, Abel Chavarria, Karla Chavarria, Xiomara Chavarria, Maykelin Chavarria Acevedo, Yorling Chavarria Avecedo, Miurell Perez, Katy Chavarria Ramirez, Jorge Chavarria Ramirez, Levy Chavarria; and his extended family, as well as his many close friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Armando Chavarria Raitt; and his brother Saul Chavarria Vilchez.

A time of gathering to honor Armando’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the home of Briceland Funeral Service, LLC, located at 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403. His celebration continues on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at 11:00 AM with a Funeral Service also in the funeral home.
