Thomas “Tommy” Michael Guzan, of Farrell, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 21, 2016, while at home following an unfortunate accident. He was only 11.
Tommy was born on July 26, 2004, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a son to Thomas John Guzan & Katie Anne Bennett.
He was a student at the West Hill Elementary School and had recently attended the West Hill Ministries Summer Camp.
Tommy was full of life. He enjoyed playing football for the Sharon Tiger Midgets, baseball, Tae Kwon Do, wrestling, working at Ghoul Mansion, and riding four-wheelers with his uncle.
He had attended the First Baptist Church of Sharon and the Bethel Life Worship Center, Greenville, Pennsylvania.
He will be sadly missed by: his mother, Katie & step-father, Glenn Bennett; his father, Tom; his siblings, Christopher & Kaylynn Bennett; his grandparents, Kimberly & Tom Davis, Robert Bennett, Tonjia Hulley, Mary & Jesse Piper, Thomas Paul Guzan & Kathy; his great-grandparents, Thelma Michael, Dwight & Erma Bennett, Joseph Pasquerilla, and Pat & Kathy Erickson; his uncles, Tyler Guzan, Chris Culp, and Mike; his aunts, Krystal Bennett, Kallie Davis, and Terrica Culp; and his extended family as well as countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, George Walsh; and by his great-grandmother, Mary Pasquerilla.
A time of gathering to honor Tommy will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 4 to 7 PM at Briceland Funeral Service, located on the historic village green at 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403. A private funeral service will be held on Thursday. He will be laid to rest in Brookfield Township Cemetery.
