Ronald “Ron” Lee Gore, of Vienna, Ohio, went home on Thursday evening, January 15, 2026, following a sudden illness. He was 67.
Ronald was born on January 12, 1959, in Warren, Ohio, a son to Robert & Mary (Kereszturi) Gore. He graduated from Howland High School in 1977 and furthered his education at Youngstown State University where he received an Associate Degree in Business.
Ron worked as a material manager at Hillside Hospital and later for Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He dedicated over 40 years to his vocation before retiring.
He was passionate about music. In his spare time, he loved being a DJ, especially for the Relay for Life charity events. He was also an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Browns fan (even though he was still waiting for them to go to the Super Bowl).
Mourning his loss are his wife, Laura Jean (Sewell) Gore, whom he married February 8, 1980; daughter, Meagan Gore, of Youngstown, Ohio; granddaughters, Novella & Vayda Poole; siblings, James Gore (Patty), of Newton Falls, Ohio, William Gore, of Cortland, Ohio, Cecil Gore, of Salem, Ohio, Marilyn Downing (James), of Bluffton, South Carolina, Carolyn Metz, of Salem, Marie Callahan, of Warren, Ohio, and Wayne Gore (Tammy), of Columbus, Ohio; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Robert Paul Gore, Donald Ray Gore, & Kenneth Lee Gore.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services. His family will honor him privately.
