Roberta Jean Forgue, of New Castle, Pennsylvania, entered eternal rest on Friday, March 29, 2024, while a patient at Addison Health Care Center, Masury, Ohio, following a period of declining health. She was 60.
Roberta was born on October 16, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter to James C. & Eddella M. (Roberts) Bates, and was a homemaker for her family.
In her spare time, she enjoyed watching her soap operas, wrestling, and all types of different movies.
Survivors include: life partner, Mike Markle, of New Castle; son, Joshua Forgue & his wife Julie, of Vernon Hills, Illinois; daughter, Stacy Williams & her husband John, of Ringwood, Illinois; grandchildren, Scarlet, Sophia, Kaia, and one on the way; and siblings, Karen & Ed Kaack, of Momence, Illinois, Tonijo Bieber, of Chandler, Arizona, Jackie & Joe Loosa, of Youngstown, Louisiana, Robert & Arlene Bates, of Grovetown, Georgia, Kenneth & Cheryl Bates, of Kankakee, Illinois, James & Gretchen Bates, of Chicago, and Kathy MacArthur, of Kankakee; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and sister, Elizabeth A. "Betty" Spring Peden.
In accordance with her wishes, no public services will be held.
