Robert “Bob” Thomas Briceland, of Summitville, Ohio, passed away Monday morning, October 26, 2026, while at home and under hospice care. He was 74.
Robert was born in Canton, Ohio, on November 22, 1951, a son to William A. and H. Pearl (Manfull) Briceland.
He graduated from Southern Local High School with the class of 1970.
Bob moved to Arizona where he became a Missionary Preacher for many years on the Navaho Reservation.
In his spare time, he enjoyed long car rides and helping those in need. He donated his time and services to preach about Jesus. Additionally, Bob had a sweet tooth for dark chocolate and ice cream. And without question, he was an absolute fanatic for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Survivors include: his children, Heather, Jenalee, Bobbi Sue, Nicole, Jessica, Joy, Jenarose, Jaci, Joshua, and Joel; 7 grandchildren; siblings, M. Patricia “Patty” Jarvis (John), Michael J. Briceland (Joy), and Marsha A. Bond (James); many nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as his extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Josiah; and brother, Frank.
In accordance with his wishes, no calling hours or services will be held. Bob deeply believed that death is not to be feared, but a continuance of the spirit returning to the earth.
