Patricia Ann Porterfield

Patricia Ann Porterfield, of Sharon, Pennsylvania, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, while a patient at Aiken Regional Medical Center, Aiken, South Carolina, following a brief illness. She was 74.

Patricia was born on February 6, 1950, in Sharon, a daughter to Earl & Elizabeth B. (Foor) Mollard.

She was a proud homemaker for her family who enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and spending time with her children. In addition, she liked to gamble and play BINGO. Furthermore, Pat loved watching studio wrestling, especially "Stone Cold Steve Austin" and her soaps – “The Young & the Restless” as well as “The Bold and the Beautiful”. She had a big heart and a great sense of humor. She will truly be missed. 

Survivors include: her children, Diane Smith, of Windsor, South Carolina, Maggie (Brian) Clark, of Masury, Ohio, Sonny (Tammy) Porterfield, of Sharon, Gail (Trapper) Feldman, of Aiken, South Carolina, Billy Dollman, and Amanda (Billy) Altman, both of Sharon; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Mort Mortimer, of Sharon; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry C. “Sonny” Porterfield, Jr., whom she married October 7, 1975, he passed August 27, 2023; grandchildren, Dustin Chesmer, Heaven Marie Lewis, & Justin Nehlen; son-in-law, Steve Smith; and siblings, Rodney Mollard, Diane Swartz, & Joe Mortimer.

A time of gathering to honor Patricia will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 1:00-3:00 PM, in the home of Briceland Funeral Service, LLC, located at 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow at 3:00 PM.
