Nancy Lee Greathouse

Nancy Lee Greathouse, 83, of Burghill, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026.

She was born on March 9, 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio, to George Washington Brady and Rebecca Jane Brady. She married William Greathouse Sr. on April 25, 1959. Together they shared a devoted marriage that would have marked 67 years on April 25, 2026.

She is survived by her husband, William Greathouse Sr.; her brother, Robert Brady; her children, William Greathouse Jr. (Louise), Pamela Perrine, Kenneth Greathouse (LuAnn), Lawrence Greathouse (Charlene), and Michelle Durst; and her beloved granddaughter, Kimberly Litz (Bradley), whom she lovingly raised. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, William Greathouse III, Juliee Herdman, Kevin Perrine, Kenneth Greathouse, Lawrence Greathouse Jr., Tyler Greathouse, Samantha Pearce, Stephen Durst Sr., Kristin Hnatiw, Bailey Litz, Rebecca Litz, and Bradyn Litz; as well as 12 great-grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, and 10 step-great-grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Doris, Lillian, Marge, Shirley, and Patricia; and brothers, James and Darwin (“Skip”).

Nancy’s greatest joy was her family. She will be remembered for her unwavering love, her dedication to those she cared for, and the strong, steady presence she provided throughout her life.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
