Michael Presnar

Michael “Mike” Robert Presnar, of Masury, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 18, 2017 in the Emergency Room of Sharon Regional Hospital. He was 51.

Mike was born March 11, 1966, in Petersburg, West Virginia, a son to Sheila (Helmick) Presnar-Swetz.

A proud defender of our flag and country, he chose to fight for our freedom when he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1987. He was employed as a Route Driver delivering baked goods for Rainbow Unique Nighthawk 3, Inc., Youngstown, Ohio.

He graduated from Brookfield High School in 1984 and was a Catholic by faith. In his spare time, Mike loved cheering on his Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. Most recently, his favorite team was the Westminster Titan’s Football Team, where he rooted for his fiancée’s son, Nick. In addition, Mike really enjoyed attending outdoor music concerts during the warmer months.

His survivors include: his fiancée and longtime companion, Leslie Kerr, Masury; her children, Robert, Edward, & Nicholas Kerr; his daughter, Jamie Boehnlein, Brunswick, Ohio; and his brother, Stanley Patrick Presnar, Hollywood, Florida; as well as his extended family and close friends.

His mother preceded him in death.

In accordance with his wishes, a memorial service will be held in his honor on Sunday, March 26, 2017, beginning at 5:00 PM, at the home of Briceland Funeral Service, located on the historic village green at 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403.
