Mary A. Wiseman

Mary A, Wiseman, of Brookfield, Ohio, suddenly passed from an apparent cardiac event during the early morning hours of Saturday, June 28, 2025, while at home. She was 68.

Mary was born on December 21, 1956, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a daughter to Thomas W. & Susan J. (Racketa) Tanner.

She graduated from Joseph Badger High School in 1975.

Shortly thereafter, she married the love of her life, Jeffery L. Wiseman. They exchanged vows on June 28, 1975, and together had two sons: Matthew & Daniel.

She was proud to be a homemaker for her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, bird-feeding & watching, and being outside. Mary was always found tending to her gardens and doing yard work. However, she liked watching her soap operas too.

Mourning her loss are her husband of 50 years, Jeff; her boys, Matthew Thomas Wiseman (Angelica), of Brookfield, and Daniel Patrick Wiseman (Lindsey), of Niles, Ohio; grandchildren, Wynter, Wysper, LiI' Matt, Reygan, Aubrey, Greyson, & Braeley; siblings, Louise Hayslett, of Champion, Ohio, Wayne Tanner (Fran), of Brookfield, and Paul Tanner, of Warren, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; as well as her fur kids, Patch & Bandit.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Susan Tanner.

A time of gathering to honor Mary will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, in the home of Briceland Funeral Service, LLC, located at 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403. A private family graveside service will be held when she is laid to rest in Brookfield Township Cemetery.
