Warren

Margaret Mina Stychno, of Warren, Ohio, passed from this life on Monday, March 18, 2024, following a period of declining health. She was 81.

Margaret was born July 20, 1942, in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter to Francis and Elizabeth (Burris) Murphy.

She was a proud homemaker for her family although she had a short career life before becoming a mother.

Margaret was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Warren; GFWC Ohio Warren Junior Women's League; and was the Co-Founder of Marital Rights Task Force, Warren. This task force was recognized by the Ohio Supreme Court as a strong advocate for women’s rights.

In her spare time, she enjoyed boating and being around her longtime friends. In addition, she loved her home decorating company, Margo’s Interior Designs. However, spending time with her children and grandchildren gave her the most joy.

Survivors include: children, Dr. Chris P. Stychno, Dr. Jeffrey L. Stychno, (twin) Brendon A. Stychno (girlfriend, Gina McLaughlin), and (twin) Catherine "Catee" A. Stychno, all of Warren; grandchildren, Zachary, Savannah, Oliver, Maximillian, Nicolette, Roxy, Scarlet, and Logan; and sister, Elizabeth "Bettie" Abbott, of Sanibel Island, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by siblings, Mickey, Sissy, Billy, Jackie, Mary, and Joe.

A memorial mass will be held in her honor and will be announced soon.
