Lois Roh

Lois Evelyn Roh, 87, of Cortland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Cortland Health Care Center.

Lois was born August 24, 1930, in Falls Creek, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John M. and Lois I. (Barker) Wolff.

She had previously worked at Howard Johnson's and Jimmy Chieffo's in Warren, but for most of her life Lois was a devoted her life to caring for her family.

She was a member of the Vienna United Methodist Church and had been a Girl Scout Leader in Vienna for five years. She enjoyed singing for weddings, playing the piano, and bowling.

Her survivors include: daughters, Sandra (Thomas) Sappington, of Cortland, and Donna Puckett of Houston, Texas; sister, Rachel McElrath, of Southington, Ohio; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents; Lois is preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Scott Sr., her second husband, William Roh; her son, Donald W. Scott Jr.; her daughters; Betsey Scott, and Sue Ann Hines; and her brothers, Paul Wolff, Harold Wolff and James Wolff.

A time of gathering in Lois' honor will be held on Monday, June 25, 2018, from 12 to 1 PM at the home of Briceland Funeral Service, located on the historic green at 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403. A funeral service will be offered at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Donald, in Crown Hill Cemetery, Vienna.
