Lainey Marie Hughes

Lainey Marie Hughes, graced this world for 3 months before passing directly into Heaven on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

Lainey was born in Farrell, Pennsylvania, on March 14, 2026, a beautiful daughter to Zachary Hughes & Ashley Rutledge.

She brought so much joy and was loved beyond measure.

Mourning her loss are her parents; maternal grandparents, Amy & Matt Rutledge, of Hermitage, Pennsylvania; paternal grandparents, Allen & Michelle Hughes, of West Middlesex, Pennsylvania; great-grandparents, John & Joan Rutledge, Darlene Sanson, Gloria Hughes, & Shari Taiclet; aunts & uncles, Amber & Alyssa Rutledge, Jess & Alan Hughes; and a cousin, Mason Hughes.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandfathers, Darrell Sanson, Rea Taiclet, & Clyde Hughes.

A time of gathering to honor Lainey will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, in the home of Briceland Funeral Service, LLC, located at 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
