Joyce M. McKelvey

Joyce M. McKelvey, of Niles, Ohio, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, while under hospice care, following an extended illness. She was 75.

Joyce was born July 28, 1950, at home in Marion County, West Virginia, a daughter to Frank R. & Margaret J. (Craft) Ebbs.

She graduated in 1968 from Leavittsburg High School and was a bus driver for Howland Local School District.

She was a member of the Vienna United Methodist Church.

In her spare time, she enjoyed camping, cruises, church music, church activities, and crafting.

Survivors include: Donald F. McKelvey, of Cortland, Ohio, who was her caregiver throughout her illness; grandsons, Patrick Shawn McKelvey, II & Austin McKelvey; 3 great-grandchildren; and brother, Raymond Ebbs (Valerie), of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donnie Lee McKelvey, he passed November 24, 2021; and son, Patrick Shawn McKelvey.

A memorial service in her honor will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, beginning at 12:00 PM, in the Vienna United Methodist Church, 4265 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, Ohio 44473, with Pastor Megan Buehler, officiating.
