In his spare time, Dewey enjoyed walking everywhere, playing the lottery, especially his scratch off tickets, and cheering for his Pittsburgh Steelers. He had a special bond with his family and will truly be missed.

Survivors include: his children, Melissa L. (Derek) Jackson, of Farrell, Pennsylvania, Andre "Dre" (Julia) Ganzy, of Grove City, Pennsylvania, and Percy Phephus Coleman, of Farrell; grandchildren, Eric, Gerisse, Trenity, and Jamarii; great-granddaughters, Malia & Milan; sisters, Patricia D.
