John David Deiger

John David Deiger, of Brookfield, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025, while a patient Shepherd of the Valley, Liberty Township, Ohio, following a period of declining health. He was 73.

John was born on January 8, 1952, in Salem, Ohio, a son to Charles E. & Mildred M. (Barnhouse) Deiger.

He graduated from Columbiana High School in 1970 and furthered his education at Walden University where he received both a Bachelor & Master’s degree in Nursing.

John retired after a rewarding career as a registered nurse.

In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, especially to Mexico.

Survivors include: his daughters, Joleen (Brandon) Bunner, of Leetonia, Ohio, Sarah Deiger, of Ashtabula, Ohio, and Emily (Jake) Winfree, Lakewood, Ohio; 5 grandchildren; and sister, Judy Everson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jody Lynn; sisters, Ada May Neff, Nancy Lou Deiger, Martha Oliver & Alberta Ludt; brother, Nick Deiger; and niece, Nancy Lou Deiger.

In accordance to his wishes, no calling hours or services will be scheduled.
