Evan Alexander Wallace

Evan Alexander "Evy" "Ev" Wallace, of Warren, Ohio, formerly of Brookfield, Ohio, found peace on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, while at home after taking his own life. He was only 23.

Evan was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, on February 16, 2003, a son to Jerry and Kim (Gibson) Wallace.

He graduated in 2021 from Brookfield High School, where he played football. In addition, Evan went to TCTC to study electrical technology and furthered his electrical studies at Youngstown State University.

He was currently working for Amazon at the Warren Plant.

In his spare time, he enjoyed going to the gym, being outdoors, hunting, hiking, playing video games with his friends, as well as riding motorcycles and dirt bikes.

Mourning his loss are his mother, Kim (Gibson) Chiodo (Gary), of Brookfield; father, Jerry Wallace (Vicki), of Sharon; sister, Paige (Wallace) Saadeh (Tony), of Brookfield; brother, Seth Wallace, of Niles, Ohio; grandparents, MaryAnn Wallace, Charles & Joanne Ellis, Sharon & Roy Kovacich, Robert & Lorraine Gibson, and Joe & Gerry Chiodo; and his girlfriend, Kayla.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Wallace; grandmothers, Mary Coyne & Marilyn Callahan; and step-father, Johnny Zdelar Jr.

A time of gathering to honor Evan will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 4-7 PM, at the Brookfield United Methodist Church, 6951 Grove Street, Brookfield, Ohio 44403. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM, also at the church. He will be laid to rest in the Brookfield Township Cemetery.
