Edwin “Ed” A. Stigleman, of Masury, Ohio, passed into the loving arms of his bride, Sheila, as he went to Heaven on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, following a brief illness. He was 75.

Edwin was born July 10, 1948, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a son to Albert and Sarah Grace (Hoover) Stigleman.

He graduated from Brookfield High School in 1966 and furthered his education at ETI, where he received an associate’s degree in electronics.

Throughout his lifetime, Ed worked for various companies, most notably G.A.T.X. and U.S. Steel Barrel Works.

He was a member of the former Six-Fourteen Church, Masury.

In his spare time, Ed enjoyed going to car shows, driving with his bride in their convertible Mustang, breakfast at the local diner with his friends, watching his grandchildren's activities, and hanging out with his fur-pup, Buddy. 

Survivors include: his children, Michele Campbell & her husband Marc, of Knoxville, Tennessee, James Stigleman & his significant other, Shannon Testa, of Brookfield, Ohio, and Daphne Breighner & her husband Raymond, of Masury; grandchildren, Rebecca Smith & her husband Hunter, James Stigleman, Jr., Matthew Breighner, Macey Tate, Alison Breighner, Addy Tate, Laney Tate, Luca Campbell, & Lily Campbell; great-granddaughters, Charlotte & Luna-Ray Smith; sister, Brenda Ganscos & her husband Kal, of Apex, North Carolina; In-laws, CoAnn Osmon, Doreen (Ed) Dulka, Jack (Patty) Elston, Hope Warner, and Carol Lenney; and his fur-pup, Buddy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his wife, Sheila Rae (Elston) Stigleman, whom he married August 2, 1975, she passed April 19, 2019.

A memorial service will be held in Ed's honor at 5 PM, Friday, February 9, 2024, in the home of Briceland Funeral Service, LLC, located at 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403.

As suggested by his family, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in your area.
