Daniel Bayus

Daniel Lee Bayus, of Brookfield Ohio, died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 25, 2017, in the Emergency Room of Sharon Regional Hospital, following a sudden illness. He was 56.

Dan was born March 19, 1961 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son to Thomas E. & Helen (Kroner) Bayus.

He graduated from Brookfield High School in 1979 and furthered his education by attending Youngstown College of Business where he studied professional drafting.

On July 11, 1981, he married the former Lisa D. Klingensmith and together they started a family. Born to this union where three children, Melissa, Daniel II, and Michael. He supported his young family by working as a salesman for Valley Piano & Organ, Hermitage, Pennsylvania.

Dan was the founder of the former Brookfield Homerun Club and in his spare time, he enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, fishing, baseball, gardening, canning, cooking, NASCAR “Old #3 - Dale Sr.”, watching sports, euchre tournaments, and family cookouts.

Survivors include: his mother, Helen; his wife, Lisa; his children, Melissa R. Pelc & her husband Jeff, Pickerington, Ohio, Daniel L. Bayus, II & his wife Stacy, Lake City, Pennsylvania, and Michael R. Bayus, Reynoldsburg, Ohio; his grandchildren, Maxwell, Madelyn, & Mallory Pelc, and Jaxson Lagace; his siblings, Tom Bayus & his wife Diane, West Middlesex. Pennsylvania, Barbara A. Campbell & her husband John, Davie, Florida, Dave A. Bayus & his wife Bernadine, Masury, Ohio, and Debbie Bayus, Charlotte, North Carolina; and his extended family too.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A Private Service for his family and close friends will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2017. He will be laid to rest in the Brookfield Township Cemetery.
