Carolyn J. Jones, of Brookfield, Ohio, peacefully passed away during the early morning hours on Monday, February 16, 2026, while a patient at Cortland Healthcare Center and surrounded by the love of her family, following a brief illness. She was 77.

Carolyn was born in Warren, Ohio, on November 3, 1948, a daughter to Francis D. and Emogene (Roebuck) Seiple.

She graduated from Warren Western Reserve High School in 1967. A short time later, she landed a position working for Delphi Packard. She dedicated 35 years of service to the company before officially retiring.

She was a member of the IUE-CWA 717 and in her spare time, enjoyed traveling, cruises, camping, and vacations. In addition, she liked her lunch dates with her girlfriends.

Survivors include: her children, Terry L. Yannucci, of Warren, Kyle W. Jones, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Ashley M. Kolat (Chad), of Liberty Twp., Ohio; grandchildren, Antonio J. Yannucci (Rachael), Benjamin, Evelyn, & Emilia Kolat, and Xander Jones; great-granddaughters, Nevaeh, Aubrey, Callie, Layla, & Savannah; and sister, Deborah Hartshorn (Jerry), of Poland, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald “Jerry” W. Jones, whom she married January 19, 1985, he passed October 22, 2020; and sister, Virginia Armstrong.

A time of gathering in Carolyn’s honor will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, in the home of Briceland Funeral Service, LLC, located at 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403. Her celebration continues with a funeral service beginning at 6:00 PM. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved Jerry in the Brookfield Township Cemetery.
