Bonnie Dellarco

September 11, 1927 — March 28, 2016

Bonnie M. Dellarco, of Sharpsville, Pennsylvania, went home peacefully at 6:18 PM on Monday, March 28, 2016, while at home and surrounded by her daughters. She was 88.

Bonnie was born on September 11, 1927, at home in Brookfield, Ohio, a daughter to Ralph H. & Clara E. (White) McFarland, Sr.

She graduated from Brookfield High School in 1945 and worked as an assembler for more than 19 years at Packard Electric before retiring.

She was a member of the Victory Christian Center, Coitsville, Ohio, and in her spare time, she enjoyed volunteering with Meals on Wheels, Sharon, as well as Hospice and Habitat for Humanity, both in Florida.

Her favorite hobbies include crocheting, playing bingo, and tending to her flowers. However, the most precious of all, was spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Pirlo, Deltona, Florida, Diane Hoff & her husband Art, Burlington, Kentucky, Carol Corbett & her husband Patrick, Fair Haven, New Jersey, and Nancy Hoovler & her husband Kevin, Sharpsville; her grandchildren, Tricia Janes, Stephanie Hoovler, Travis Hoovler, Catherine & Ryan Corbett; her great-grandchildren, Liam & Kieran Work; her step-children, Gene Dellarco & his wife Jeffann, Hudson, Ohio, and Audrey Superak, Brookfield, Ohio; her sisters, Agnes Leach, Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania and Betty Brest, West Middlesex, Pennsylvania; and her sister-in-law, Eileen McElhaney, Hubbard, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husbands, Carl H. Robbins whom she married in 1949, he passed in 1975 and Raymond G. Dellarco whom she married 1983, he passed in 1998; by her step-son, Edward Dellarco; by her brother, Ralph McFarland Jr.; and by her sister, Marguerite McFarland.

She was loved by everyone who knew her. A time of gathering to honor Bonnie will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 12 to 2 PM at Briceland Funeral Service, located on the historic village green at 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403. A celebration of life service will immediately follow beginning at 2 PM. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Carl in Brookfield Township Cemetery.

Per Bonnie’s wishes, memorial contributions can be made to the Shenango Valley Meals on Wheels c/o the funeral home.
