Betty Wilcox
January 16, 1948 — November 21, 2015
Betty J. Wilcox, of Brookfield, Ohio, entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Vibra Hospital of Mahoning Valley, Trumbull Campus, Warren, Ohio, following a period of declining health. She was 67.
Betty was born January 16, 1948, in Boyer, West Virginia, a daughter to Clyde J. & Loretta (Brewster) Houchin.
A 1965 graduate of Green Bank High School, Green Bank, West Virginia, she found employment utilizing her talents as a cook and baker. She relocated to Ohio and had worked at the former Southside Golden Dawn and Margarita’s Bar & Grill, both located in Masury.
In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles and word search books.
She is survived by: her daughter, Dena G. Gershman, Masury; her son, Larry F. Deal, Jr., Butler, Pennsylvania; her granddaughter, Kristen E. Deal, Warren, Ohio; and her great-grandchildren, Alainna J. & Jaxyn A. Weber.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In accordance with her wishes, private services will be honored.
