Belinda Gregory-Campbell, of Sharon, Pennsylvania, transitioned from this life on Thursday, May 14, 2026, in the Emergency Room at UPMC Shenango Valley Campus, Farrell, Pennsylvania, following a period of declining health. She was 62.
Belinda was born on August 4, 1963, in Sharon, a daughter to Herbert & Irene (Rankin) Gregory.
She graduated from Farrell High School in 1981 and shortly thereafter, enlisted in the U.S. Army to protect our flag and to help keep our country free. She was a material control and accounting specialist while stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Her decorations and citations include: Army Service Ribbon, Marksman (Rifle M-16), Marksman (Hand Grenade) Good Conduct Medal, and Army Achievement Medal. She was honorably discharged from her duties with the rank of Specialist E-4.
Following her return home, Belinda furthered her education at the Penn State Shenango Campus, where she obtained an associate degree in Human Development and Early Childhood Education.
She worked at several of the youth facilities throughout the valley, specializing in child care.
In her spare time, she enjoyed thrifting, shopping, traveling, and crocheting. Additionally, Belinda liked going to Bible Study & worship at Cedar Avenue Church of God. However, spending time with family is what she loved the most.
She is survived by: her son, Byron Lane, of Sharon; daughter, Alisha Tarver, of Alexandria, Virginia; granddaughters, Navia Lane & Lamiya Norris; sister-in-law, Crystal Gregory, of Farrell; siblings, Eva Gregory, of Farrell, Melvin Gregory (Rene), of Columbus, Ohio, Anthony Gregory (Gloria), of Sharon, & Ronnie Gardner (Lena), of Mount Holly, North Carolina; bonus sister & best friend, Deirdre Burks, of Farrell; favorite niece, Terrica Lynn Gregory, of Farrell; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, God-children, & God-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Alisha Gregory; longtime partner, Grant Summers; siblings, Preston Gregory, Seltina Gregory, Terry Gregory, & James Gregory; and great-nephew, William Murray.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Friday, May 22, 2026, beginning at 12:00 PM, at the Cedar Avenue Church of God, 1045 Cedar Avenue, Sharon, Pennsylvania 16146, officiated by Rev. Charles Johnson, Pastor.
