Barbara Lou Robbins

Barbara Lou Robbins, of Masury, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, while at home, following a period of declining health. She was 96.

Barbara was born at home in Brookfield, Ohio, on August 3, 1929, a daughter to Margaret Grace Christy.

She graduated from Brookfield High School in 1947 and had worked as an inspector at Packard Electric, both in Warren and Hubbard. In addition, she worked at the former Knival’s General Store in Brookfield.

B. Lou was an active member of the Brookfield Christian Church; Red Hat Society; Brookfield Historical Society; and the National Honor Society.

In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling to all 50 states and the Canadian Provinces. Furthermore, she liked going to the cottage at Geneva on the Lake. However, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, gave her the most joy.

Mourning her loss are: son, Brian L. Reiser (Tracy), of Masury; step-daughter, Helen Sharp (Vern), of Mustang, Oklahoma; daughter-in-law, Kathy Reiser, of Brookfield; grandchildren, Christy Reiser, Monica Jordan (Anthony), Michael Reiser, & Meghan Reiser (Morgan Bonekovic); great-grandchildren, Riley, Grant, Evan, Reese, Ella, & Isla; several step-grands & great-grands; and sister, Cheryl E. Christy, of Brookfield.

Preceding her in death are husbands, Clinton LaMont Reiser & Gerald Grant Robbins; sons, Dan C. Reiser & Gary Reiser; step-son, Jerry Robbins; and brother, Donald D. Christy.

A time of memorial gathering to honor Barbara Lou will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, at the Brookfield Christian Church, 434 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403. Her celebration continues with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 AM, also in the church.
