Angeline "Angie" Lawler

Angeline “Angie” M. Lawler, of Farrell, Pennsylvania, passed from this life on Sunday, March 6, 2016, while a patient in Saint John XXII Home, Hermitage, Pennsylvania, following a period of declining health. She was 93.

Angeline was born January 10, 1923, at home in Farrell, a daughter to Ralph Martino, Sr. & Catherine (Sarcinella) Martino.

Shortly after graduating from Farrell High School in 1941, she went to work at Westinghouse Electric Company, Sharon, Pennsylvania. Her determination and skills enabled her to fulfill a career that spanned over forty years as a coil winder.

Angie was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church, Sharon.

She is survived by: her brothers, Frank Martino, Masury, Ohio, Daniel Martino & his wife Gwen, Brookfield, Ohio, and John Martino & his wife Jean, Sharpsville, Pennsylvania; her sister, Rebecca Fair, Sharon; and many nieces & nephews; as well as her church family too.

She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, James W. Lawler, whom she married August 10, 1960, he passed on January 13, 1964; by her brothers, Ralph & Jerry Martino; and by her sisters, Christine Sanitate, Jenny Hinkle, and Lucy Morocco.

A time of gathering to honor Angie’s life will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016, from 10-11 AM in her church, Covenant Presbyterian, 263 E. State Street, Sharon. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11 AM. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
