Angela “Nece” Denise Brown, of Farrell, Pennsylvania, received her wings on Friday, December 12, 2025, while at home and surrounded by the love of her family. She was 64 years old.
Angela was born on March 4, 1961, in Raleigh, North Carolina, to James Eggleston and Annie L. (Best) Rice.
She was a loving and devoted wife to the late Ronald Brown, whom she married on September 11, 2010.
Affectionately known as Nece, Angela was a selfless and loving woman who always placed the needs of others before her own. She possessed a heart of gold and a soul to match. Caring for her family—and those she lovingly embraced as her own—was her greatest joy. Her love, kindness, and nurturing spirit will forever be remembered.
Angela was a faithful member of Redeemed Sanctuary Church, in Sharon, Pennsylvania. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, baking, listening to music, and cheering on her beloved Dallas Cowboys. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Annie Rice; children, Dante Best, La’Chana Best, Isiah Best, and Ebony Doss; godchildren, Roxanne West-Rain (Sean Sr.) and Tameka Green; one special daughter, Jennifer Clayton; two special sons, Jason Paige and Jemarr Robbins; grandchildren, Jordan Best, Mikhi Handy, Corion Best, Damya Jackson, Marius Best, Gionni Best, Mea Best, Jayse Paige, and Qa'Ron McKinnon; brother, Jimmie Eggleston; sisters, Calvetta White and Alysia Fears; godsisters, Devon Hughes and Doris Campbell; special sister, Jacqueline Walker; stepchildren, Derrick Morgan, Shannon Richardson, Dewayne Burns, and Ronalda Brown; and her Loving and Devoted friends, Carminal Craig and Lynn Wilkins.
Angela was preceded in death by her father, James Eggleston; husband, Ronald Brown; son, Marcus Best; daughter, Odyssey Houston; granddaughter, Je’Marrauri Doss; stepson, Robert Brown; brother, Willie Best; grandparents, Sarah Moore (Joseph Moore) and George Allen Williams; cousin/sister, Lisa Lowery; godson, Tyrell Askernese; godbrothers, Lemont and Lemueal Hughes; and godparents, Samuel and Mildred Hughes.
A Memorial Service in her honor will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM, at Redeemed Sanctuary Church, 120 Elm Avenue, Sharon Pennsylvania 16146, where family and friends may pay their respects from 12:00-1:00 PM.
