Andrew Tarian, passed away on June 1, 2026, at home, after a long illness. He was 82 years old.

Andy was born August 30, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Andrew and Mary Tarian.

He graduated from Bedford High School, in Bedford, Ohio, and from the Ohio State University, with a degree in psychology. While at OSU, he participated on the fencing team.

He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged from his duties with the rank of specialist E-5.

Following in his father’s footsteps, he became a Tool and Die Maker at the former General Motors Lordstown facility. He retired after dedicating 34 years of service to the company.

He attended St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Hubbard.

His hobby was model trains, and he had an extensive display that included handcrafted replicas of local buildings, 1950’s cars, and areas of life lived, whether on farms, in parks, or cities. In addition, he loved driving his Corvette and spending time with his dog, Reba.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jackqueline, who died in 2001; and son, Gabriel, who passed away in 2023.

Andy is survived by his wife of 21 years, Bonnie; daughters, Andrea and Natalie; and a granddaughter.

A memorial gathering to honor Andy’s life will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, in the home of Briceland Funeral Service, LLC, located at 379 State Route 7, SE, Brookfield, Ohio 44403.

The family especially thanks Windsor House Nursing Home and Southern Care Hospice, for their compassion, as well as the women of Mahoning Valley Medical, for their many hours of service.
