Amy Rene Stone, of Brookfield, Ohio, received her wings on Saturday, February 7, 2026, while a patient at the Cleveland Clinic, surrounded by the love of her family and following a valiant battle with Amyloidosis. She was 68.
Amy was born July 19, 1957, in Jamaica, New York, a daughter to Curtis E. and Irene M. (Fisher) Fuller.
She was a 1975 graduate of Brookfield High School and furthered her education at Slippery Rock University and later at the Sharon Beauty School.
Amy was a talented hairdresser who worked for the Regis Hair Salon and Penney’s in the Shenango Valley Mall.
She was a member of the Brookfield United Methodist Church and the Apollo Maennerchor Club in Sharon.
In her spare time, Amy enjoyed hanging out with her loving partner, John, and her friends, going to wineries, shopping, and playing cards. Additionally, she loved listening to live bands, traveling, and walking on beaches. However, and most importantly, she absolutely cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mourning her loss are her children whom she was so proud of: Kendal Cutter (Zack), of Howland, Ohio, Brad Stone, of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, and Sam Stone (Tyler Thompson), of Masury, Ohio; her precious grandchildren whom she adored, Ariana Cutter, Zachary Cutter, Wyatt Stone, Cole Thompson, Sutton Jo Thompson, Grayson Stone, & Delilah Thompson; sister, Julie Parks (Dave), of Salina, Kansas; companion, John Townley; mother-in-law, Shirley Stone, of Sebring, Florida; sisters-in-law, Dena McMullin (Gary), of Brookfield, and Jody Watts, of Sebring; many nieces and nephews as well as countless friends; and her fur-pup, Chance.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Timothy “Tim” F. Stone, whom she married May 26, 1979, he passed November 2, 2011; father-in-law, Jerry Stone; sister, Pat Pierce; and fur-pup, Lucky.
A Celebration of Life in her honor will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 5:30-8:30 PM, at the Apollo Maennerchor Club, 391 S. Dock Street, Sharon, Pennsylvania, 16146.
In true Amy fashion, she did not want any tears shed, instead she wanted one last good time with all her friends and family. We know she was loved by many, so all are welcome to come say goodbye and remember all of the great memories you have with her.
There will be food, drinks, and a live band (John Reese Band), so come out to celebrate a life well lived!
Memorial contributions can be made in her honor to either the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org) or the Amyloidosis Foundation (www.amyloidosis.org).
